Red State

So, Kevin Smith made a kind of horror movie called "Red State." Wow. It's really good. I really didn't know what to expect. This is definitely not a part of the View Askew-niverse, and ultimately, that's a good thing. Some of Smith's previous efforts to put Jay and Silent Bob to rest were abysmal. "Red State" casts all that bullshit aside, throws in a little more camera work than i'm used to in a Kevin Smith vehicle, adds some social and political commentary and satire, and a truly terrifying scene with a bunch of cult members (especially if you're afraid of Christians like i am). Way to move on from the dick and fart jokes.

I still like dick and fart jokes though.
