Occultation

Part old school heavy metal, part doom, part psych, part prog, and part groovy 70's horror score, "Silence in the Ancestral House," the latest from New York band Occultation sounds like a bunch of well-frocked vampires playing to your dinner and demise in haunted castle in the black forests of eastern Europe.  It's fucking rad.  Listen to the excellently titled "Laughter in the Halls of Madness" below and look for the LP in October (fittingly enough) from Profound Lore.
