Hey, Dee Dee from Dum Dum Girls has a synth pop project in the works called Kristin Kontrol...which makes complete and total sense. Honestly, i'm kind of surprised it's only just now happening. Listen to the driving and pulsing "X-Communicate" below and look for the album in May on Sub Pop.
